I’m thrilled to kick off my eleventh year at Anderson-Shiro Elementary! This year, I’m stepping into the role of teaching math intervention for the first time. My goal each year is to ignite a love for learning in my students by building strong relationships and ensuring that our time together is fun and engaging! I’m looking forward to an amazing year filled with shared learning and wonderful memories we will create together.
About Me:
I graduated from Lovelady High School in 1999. After, I attended Sam Houston State University, where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Education, specializing in early childhood, in 2004. During college, I met my husband, Andy, on a blind date. We tied the knot on December 18, 2004, in a festive ceremony adorned with over 50 Christmas trees! Andy is a lieutenant with the Conroe Fire Department, and we are proud parents of two amazing sons, Wacey and Jett. Wacey, is 17, and is in the eleventh grade, while 14-year-old Jett is in eighth grade. Wacey enjoys participating in Texas high school rodeos, where he competes in team roping and steer wrestling. Jett has been a dedicated player for the Brazos Valley Bucks baseball team since he was in second grade!
